A husband, a father, a priest in the Episcopal Church, a singer, a guitar player, an occasional songwriter, a banjo student, a work in progress….
I was born in Birmingham, Alabama and grew up in Leeds. I graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham with degrees in History and English and earned my Master of Divinity at the General Theological Seminary in New York. I was ordained to the priesthood in December 2012, and currently serve as Rector at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Ithaca, New York and as Dean of the Ithaca-Cortland District in the Diocese of Central New York.Ā My wife Isabel and I have two adult sons.
I love reading, listening to music, riding my bike, singing, playing guitar and banjo, good coffee, theology, homiletics, liturgy, history, and Star Trek, but not necessarily in that order.
