A husband, a father, a priest in the Episcopal Church, a singer, a guitar player, an occasional songwriter, a banjo student, a work in progress….
I was born in Birmingham and grew up in Leeds, but I count Birmingham as my hometown since I lived there for more than half my life before we moved to New York City for seminary. I graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham with degrees in History and English and earned my Master of Divinity at the General Theological Seminary in New York. I was ordained to the priesthood in December 2012, and currently serve as Rector at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church in Huntsville, Alabama. My wife Isabel and I have two sons.
I love reading, listening to music, riding my bike, singing, playing guitar and banjo, good coffee, theology, homiletics, liturgy, history, and Star Trek, but not necessarily in that order.
